The Duel

A burly figure of a man stepped forward. "You will not touch my daughter." his voice boomed. "You'll have to touch me first!" he paused for a minute and blushed, realizing the absurdity of his wording. He sulked back to his house in shame.
"So, who will it be? Is there no one who can challenge me." Grigdo raised his hands high into the air exposing him to a military radar.
Meanwhile, 100 miles away, the commander radioed confirmation to a large fleet of jet fighters that Grigdo has been located.
Grigdo immediately began to sense something was amiss. "We've got to make this fast! Send anyone. I don't care. For some reason I feel time is short and I must leave quickly."
A beautiful woman entered the arena, she came prepared for the battle however. Decorated in finely crafted chain mail armor and wielding a broadsword. She wore no helmet and her long black hair spread down onto her shoulders and to the interconnected chains on her chest. Her face, a rather thin yet sharpened by her distinguishing nose and lips, blue eyes gazed upon her opponent.
"I am who you desire. Am I not?" her voice showed no hesitation or fear as it rang out.
Grigdo grinned. "You're just who I was looking for. I knew from the minute I saw you that it would be death at first sight."
"Enough of this pointless rabble! Now we fight! I'm Aleme by the way, and you are?"
"I'm Grigdo. Overlord of all things mass produced! Like that sword you have."
Aleme glanced at the blade and Grigdo took the opportunity to strike. Instantly slicing Aleme in half by the width of her stomach, both pieces of her fell to the ground.
"And now, we must be wed." Grigdo's eyes stared longingly at her heavily bleeding upper half.
"You have won, my fate is yours now." Aleme said with gritted teeth and closed eyes.
"No. I won't let you say that!" tears formed in Grigdo's eyes. "Your fate is yours alone and not mine! You are not mine to control. You are you alone Aleme. I am not your captor. I love you but, I also love you so much that I want you to be free Aleme. I want you to be free, and now I must part." Grigdo embraced Aleme's upper half. "Have no fear my child. You are free now. Free to explore forever." he cried one last tear and Aleme's body vanished. "Now everyone." he stood up. "Now you see that you were all sleeping the whole time, and that you are not truly who you think you are, you are wandering spirits and an evil force trapped you here. Now that you know this, you can move on."
"Thank you Grigdo! We will never forget your kindness!" the townspeople shouted as their spirits rose up into the sky. "We will never forget your..."

A Wanted Man

"I want ten dollars worth of foam packing!" exclaimed the priest as he hastily slapped a ten dollar bill onto the reception counter. The receptionist looked over for a brief moment, fiddling with the wire on her headphones. The look on her face was one of annoyance.
"I'm sorry but who are you?" she dully inquired.
The face of the priest did not look amused. "I'm the head of this household madam!" he loudly announced. The other people in the waiting room started to take notice of this strange anomaly.
"Well, excuse me, boss!" she replied in a sarcastic tone. Her eyes rolled with such force it seemed as she was going to fall onto the floor, unconscious. "Look, I don't have time to deal with this. If you're going to cause trouble. I'll phone security and you can talk to them about your foam packing."
The priest grabbed his collar for a second and then started to pull his black suit off, revealing a white shirt underneath.
"Do you see this?" he pointed to his chest at an orb that was glowing. "This is proof that I mean what I say." The light started to flash green. The priest counted the flashes. "Ten!" he yelled. "Ten! Ten! Ten! Ten! Ten! Ten!"
"What the hell are you doing? I'm calling security." the receptionist picked up the phone and started dialing numbers, but at that moment the entire desk started melting away and a golden safe appeared from the liquid.
"Takamadu!" the priest exclaimed. "I believe I've solved the riddle." his rubbed his hands together excitedly.
All of a sudden a burst of steam seeped through the neck of the receptionist, and her head began to rotate around her entire neck. It began to spin faster and faster until it got so fast it created a blur and in that blur came another face, the face of a half dragon, half human. Suddenly the head stop spinning and exploded, but left no mess. The half dragon, half human head hatched out of the nothingness. All the people in the reception room stood up and started clapping and a catchy victory tune played loudly from the walls.
"Congratulations!" coughed the half dragon, half human face, a puff of smoke burst from its mouth. "I am Grigdo."
"It's been a real pleasure Grigdo!" said the priest.
"Would you like to collect your prize now?" Grigdo's eyes moved up and down comically and the audience laughed moments later.
"Would I?!" the priest reached for his pocket. "What I mean to say is, Grigdo you're under arrest for possession of unfiltered tralidium." The audience gasped. The priest revealed a small sized nuclear missile launcher from his front pocket and pointed it at Grigdo. "Don't try to escape Grigdo, you're a wanted man. There's already five hundred highly trained soldiers outside this building waiting to take you down. You can't escape this one."
Grigdo winked and the Priest fired his nuclear weapon as  a response. A moment before it detonated Grigdo teleported to a remote village on a plateau the instant before it detonated.
"Damn you Grigdo!" the priest clenched his fist an instant and was vaporized along with the immediate area of the studio and the surrounding buildings, leaving most of the city that the studio was located in ruins and killing a quarter of the city's population, but that's a story for another day.
Grigdo breathed a deep sigh of relief. That moment was definitely one that was too close for comfort. He barely escaped the situation alive. His knees felt like they would turn into ectoplasm and drill through the ground, but he had just arrived to witness a great bustle in a small village. He would make this place his home is what he decided at that moment.
"Now all I have to do is marry the most beautiful woman in the entire village." Grigdo transformed himself into a handsome prince with blonde hair and pasty white skin. He wasn't sure on what color to pick for his eyes, so he chose to make them rainbow colored, and his hair was colored lime green with a twisty beard and an over sized handle bar mustache. For his attire, a white tank top with a stain at the middle to show his artistic side and no pants or underwear.
He pranced around the town with his chin high. It didn't take long for the town to notice. The town crier pranced up to Grigdo. "What are you doing with my hand?" the crier asked.
"My apologies sir." but Grigdo continued to surreal images of heavy industry on the crier's palm.
The crier ran away screaming, for he did not understand the true depth of Grigdo's artistic talent.
Grigdo shouted at the top of his lungs. "Is there no one here who can send their daughter so that she may challenge me to a fight to the death?"
